Jen works with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, chronic illness, chronic pain, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. Many of her clients are thoughtful and self-aware. They've spent time trying to understand themselves, but still find themselves caught in the same emotional or relational cycles.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She holds licensure in both Texas and New York, and is based in Austin, TX, where she sees clients in person through Herz Psychotherapy and via telehealth across Texas. She is currently accepting new clients in Austin and in New York via Attune.
Jen has received specialized training in OCD and ERP through Austin Anxiety and OCD Specialists, and has training in EMDR with Rick Levinson, LCSW and in polyvagal theory under Arlene Montgomery, PhD. She is actively involved in ongoing psychoanalytic training through the Houston Psychoanalytic Society and the Austin Psychoanalytic Society.
